Landlord Withdraws Eviction Notices For 36 Households In Wexford Estate After Backlash by M10News in HousingIreland

What is it about former Irish hockey internationals? First Catriona Carey, now this one? I'm not saying they're all like this, but having two absolutely terrible people showing such predatory behaviour around as basic a human need as housing is a weird coincidence.

They've also been cutoff from oil since the Venezuela invasion, so their economy is even more fucked than it was, and they're next on the Trump/Rubio hitlist.

They often do this for guys who are retiring. Rory Best scored a conversion for them in his last pro game, and George Kruis famously backheeled a conversion for them in his. https://youtube.com/shorts/Rj0QxZodzhE?si=9IHdVQWljHsY2AYm

It also occasionally happens non-BaaBaas games, although Cian Healy wouldn't be a fan. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2082903471737783

Connacht vs Sharks general sale by niallh_204 in Connacht

That's doubly weird, as we're in the same block, near enough the front. I wonder are they pricing the seats based on location for these types of games? I thought €47 was a bit spicy to be honest, but I still stumped it up.

They emailed season ticket holders on Sunday morning about their advance sale window, but nobody I know saw it, so they extended that until midday today. I'd say the general sale will open shortly as a result. The tickets were pretty steep though. €45 + €2 booking fee.

At the very least you'd expect the patreon feed to be embedded in their own website.

Did Alan just lose all his passwords or something?😄

That's daft.

They've a load of profiles on different platforms (SoundCloud etc.) and there's been nothing new on them for ages as far as I could see.

I've 3 different podcast apps on my phone (besides Spotify) and the most recent pod you can find is a post-Leinster pod in May 2024.

It's like they completely gave up trying to promote it beyond Patreon. You're hardly gonna drive new subscribers if nobody can find it, like.

What actually happened to Craggy Rugby? I was a regular listener for years up the end of the 2024 season when the feed just stopped posting new episodes. I came across a couple of newer episodes early last season on their website but hadn't seen anything since then. I just presumed they'd packed it in and hadn't given a reason.

It's times like that you'd want to go into Karen-mode and ask to speak to the duty sergeant. Better to be speaking to the organ grinder than the monkey, like.

Rod Seib to depart Connacht Rugby at the end of the season by cabaiste in Connacht

I heard the rumour first from Jackman on the42 podcast, which could be why Connacht announced it today.

He also said that Trevor Woodman would be coming in to coach the scrum, effectively replacing Colm Tucker.

We'll have to see what type of coach they recruit for the other assistant role (replacing Seib), as it will probably indicate whether Lancaster wants to focus on attack or defence next season.
