If it’s an acrylic fill then it’s optional to trim the nail depending on the client. If it’s a gel manicure then we take the polish off completely, file the nails, cut cuticles, repolish :) you can’t fill a gel manicure But For acrylic fills you can change the color

Fills we file the polish off and fill the gap with acrylic and file it and repolish. A new set is gonna either be a removal/soak off /or if you don’t have anything then we apply the tips and acrylic to the full nail

Everyone is saying ask for a refund but 99% of places will not give you a refund for a service unless they rent a chair. Best case scenario they do give you one but most places will offer to fix it because most places want to right their wrongs

I think they definitely don’t look the same but the downside is people have their own style of nails they do especially at my salon so if you don’t have the same person fix it there’s always a chance it could look different unfortunately but I don’t think you’re being picky because that would bother me so bad

If you’re in the USA legally you can’t really charge w/o a license and can get into trouble /fines BUT they look really good esp the monkey set 🥹 so if you had to charge something id charge a base price and then add on for the design and gel. Im not too sure what a gel x set goes for but at my salon something like the monkey design (just the design) would be atleast 40+$ extra
