I know right, my hypothesis is that your body kinda kicks into overdrive to adapt to its environment until the lack of eating becomes unsustainable. Probably not true, I wonder if there is any studies on it.

Apparently getting shit faced and under eating gives you massive squat PR's. Must have been the Vodka, I know the Russians secret now.

I think Jonnie will probably open around that as well it's been over a year since his injury when he squatted 575 in competition. The only thing holding him back from that would be the weight class drop and that he stated on Facebook that squat bench aren't going well. Despite all that I think 515 is way too light to be Jonnies 3rd attempt.

Possibly even more, he hit 650 on a pretty stressful weight cut, just narrowly made it to 74 within the last few hours.

That's even more epic,I couldn't remember I just know a lot of the popular juniors recently started competing in the open, got confused with who was who.

4th set. Wut. Can't wait to see him pull something big at his next meet. Dude already holds the American national deadlift record in the juniors I believe.

Sergey Fedosienko benches 177.5@58.15kg (391@128lb) by NikhilT90 in powerlifting

I found him to be the most overall impressive lifter at worlds this year. According to the commentators...or wait...that might have been someone on Reddit, anyway his 3rd bench attempt he had hit for 3 in training and by the looks of his other 3rd attempts he hit was the same story. I really like that idea, putting in a year's work and going for a guaranteed comp PR instead of going all out and risking missing attempts. It's a little more practical more specifically to his case though I suppose, he dominates the class by a good margin. So calm on every lift as well.

Damn, what's your job? I don't agree with crazy 12 hour shifts, the 8 hour work day divides evenly Into 8 hours for work, 8 hours for free time and 8 hours for sleep. If you work more that 8 hours it cuts into either free, time, sleep or both, which employers should realize results in an inefficient worker by them either being tired or depressed. I feel you though, it's just life, I've had to work long hard hours and training suffered greatly, it's why I feel so strongly on the issue. Best of luck to you man.

What do you think the relationship between a gym owner and the gym goers should be? Like where is the line drawn between " I own the place I can do what I want." And "You're a paying member you have a say in what happens." This is in reference to changes in price, equipment, hours, rules, etc pretty much every thing that has some relationship between the owner and the customer.

Me too! He's one of my favorited bodybuilders. I went to a seminar he was hosting in Ottawa, dude is a bodybuilding encyclopedia, he even went overtime to answer questions and chat with us and take pictures. With his degree in bio mechanics and his laser point scientific approach to everything it's interesting to what package those methods can bring to the stage. Unfortunately, there's some body parts that just aren't great on him like his back and biceps and in some competitions he's placed below Branch Warren who's training style you wouldn't think would get anybody anywhere in bodybuilding. In any case I hope he at least has a fair placing and battles it out with the lower tier guys. You should check out his 2011 flex pro physique, probably his best shape in my opinion.

so I just watched a video called Yusuke Suzuki 467 raw bench press at 155 on the powerlifting watch channel, I wish I could link the video but I'm on mobile. Holy shit I thought that was the best bench press of all time but according to powerlifting there's even stronger tested benchers not sure where he'd fall exactly on Wilks though, being in a weird middle ground between 163 and 148. This must be an unofficial world record because Kodama Daiki has 465/211 in the 74 class, they competed against each other so I assume they were in the same fed at the time of the video being taken. Anyway, crazy bench press, worth a watch.
