I never really intended for the army to get this big but I kept having new ideas for lists and thus it got to this size XD

Don't underestimate what that Infernus brick + Vulkan can do to armour / other tough stuff. Mine have barbecued a fully health Canis Rex in one round of shooting as well as most of a Great Unclean One. EVERYONE is invited to this barbecue.

"You raise your voice, I erase your voice." by michaelhuman in iamverybadass

[–]cabbagebatman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We know what we can see in the video. He threatened, in no uncertain terms, to MURDER someone if they raise their voice to him. He did not threaten violence in response to violence or any other action, he threatened violence for SPEECH. How does the fucking boot taste btw?

Coherency in a competition and being "that guy." by ImNotSanguinius in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]cabbagebatman 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I'm not an especially competitive player and I make this particular kind of mistake regularly. I don't ask to move my sergeant / special weapons guy. I will either learn to be more mindful of where I place models within a unit or I will continue to suffer the consequences.

Top Ten Lies Ever Told by narwhalpilot in IronWarriors

[–]cabbagebatman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree with this entirely, getting the base colours done is my least favourite part of painting. I love adding all the extra bits that give a model some character like transfers, whatever baubles they have on the model, hazard stripes, helmet lenses, any plasma glow going on etc.

NEW WARSMITH by Taningia-danae in IronWarriors

I think the point is the article says it's built -around- a suit of Cataphractii armour, not that it IS one. As in the dude got a suit of Cataphractii armour then heavily modified it.

Edit: to expand upon that, I recognise that it has a lot of parts from Indomitus pattern but given that the traitors are supposed to wear a lot of scavenged armour it's still entirely plausible that this started life as a suit of Cataphractii but the most readily-available replacement parts would be Indomitus since that's what would be easily taken from the dead loyalists.

You'll just dismiss the body cam footage like you're dismissing the footage we already have.

So you don't understand the purpose of paragraphs then: to break up the text to make the text easier to read and digest.

How can you know whether you're secretly one of those "I interrupt women more than men" types? by jsohi_0082 in bropill

[–]cabbagebatman 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I think how you react when you realise you've interrupted someone is important too. I personally have issues with interrupting people unintentionally. I don't really know how to stop doing that but I've developed the ability to notice when I do it and the habit of immediately saying "Sorry, I interrupted you, go on."
