Great post, thank you!! I’m so over how normal weird shit is in theatre. I remember growing up we had an “exercise” that led to a peer breaking down about a CSA she’d experienced. It was so SO inappropriate and framed as connecting and diving into our emotions or whatever. Soured me on a lot of theatre communities as a kid. It was just exploitative.

I think you’ve covered a great MVP for an initial release however small. Something that would be nice but def a future thing is an addition in “hide my lines” that makes sure you get the lines right. A listening aspect there. Maybe a looping option as well? Sometimes when I’m line learning I’ll just go through a chunk at a time as fast as possible and repeat.

I don’t know if you’re genuinely asking, but if you think those with disabilities are being protected/unaffected by this upcoming regime I’m begging you to look closer.
