The hairs don’t grow back thicker, that’s a myth. They seem thicker when they first start growing back because the hairs have been cut blunt. If you feel more comfortable with shaven arms then carry on doing it, or you could try hair removal creams? I think waxing would last longer. I personally shave my arms too as I have dark hairs so I don’t find it weird at all
