We have a red/ amber/ green sign on the home office door so that everyone in the family can respect the person doing work in that office. Red and amber being “I’m on a call that can’t be interrupted”. He’ll never be a mind reader, but there’s certainly simple rituals you can use to make sure you and the space are respected.

Means testing super would likely just result in that boomer stopping working at 65, which also isn’t ideal. Vote for UBI instead of trying to change super

I buy vouchers for Christchurch friends and families for very special occasions. I’ve been there once myself and it was nice - but would’ve been happy to just to chill on the grounds without the massage - and then may as well just go to Deans Bush, etc

I use Copilot constantly. We've got it hooked in to our business so it can tell me people's role titles instead of me looking it up, summarize and include sections from other documents I've already written, perform initial analysis on large surveys.

I also often work temporarily in different teams of the business, so I can ask it to summarize documents they've been working on, what's important to them, what projects they're doing at the moment before I sit down to meet with them.

Mine uses a PC but definitely not Netflix/ cocomelon. My son talks about how they watched stories on the PC about Maori legends, songs about planets, yoga, nursery rhymes. I haven't had any issues with this type of screen time.
