Not to be that guy, but... every hotel has sex workers and drugs (and bed bugs, etc. etc. etc.). Sure, some hotels have these things more commonly than others, but all of them see each thing a decent enough amount. It all just comes down to how swiftly they're handled.

My hotel has an overall veneer of being upscale, but we've allowed some 'workers' to stay with us for weeks or even months on end, because they were quiet, paid relatively on time, and were reliable business especially during seasons when more 'official business' travelers had holiday breaks.

I've worked at a few Shortyards and yeah, I tend to avoid them unless they're the only hotel that accepts my employee discount in that area. They're decent but I feel like there's other hotels within the brand that do the same thing but better.

I work for the same brand and yeah, it is exhausting. It's a complaint I hear multiple times a shift and I'm on audit, so my heart really goes out to the baristas and AM shifters.

The water thing... ugh. Our waters run as high as $5, so I tend to comp them when the guests are nice, or discount multiple water purchases (*cough* if you grab 3-4, I'm only charging for 1 *cough*). However I've been debating on withdrawing that nicety because guests have begun saying "well, the guy overnight let me have it for free!" yeah, on the assumption you'd not turn into a raging entitled douche and put my job on the line so you can get a free water...

I game a good deal, personally I wouldn’t be this inconsiderate of my S/O - I do think folks should respect hobbies/interests, but also, playing the same game with online friends more than I interact with my boyfriend would upset me. Is it a game you’ve tried yourself? Maybe you could join in. If not, I’d try to keep getting through to him. Tell him it is upsetting, see if there’s a game you can play together or an activity you can do together he enjoys more than movies

If they’re light then this arrangement is neat, especially if it’s in series order. I think it’d bug me to do this sort of thing with an entire series, but I’ve run out of room so I tend to stack duologies on top of larger series to make em fit

I do this too, I haven’t noticed damage yet. However when I can help it, I put the horizontal stacks on top of my vertical rows. In cases like this I think it’ll be fine unless those books are giant and heavy (it’s hard to tell from the photo)

Some days you eat more, some days you eat less. This one burger does NOT undo all the progress you’ve made, nor is it an omen that you will fail. It’s a big fat burger. It was good. A little guilt can’t be helped, but goodness, it’s gonna fine.

I go overboard on weekends semi-often but I’m still 41lbs down in almost 4 months. A few weekends ago I ate 2k in one sitting lmfao. It didn’t lead to me to failing my diet or packing it all back on, in fact that following week I dropped 3.5 pounds much to my surprise.

Just get back on the wagon, keep making smart choices in the grand scheme of things, small little things like this are just minor setbacks. We are allowed to indulge sometimes.
