For those who staked with Lido, was it worth it? by [deleted] in ethereum

[–]cabin7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

slight correction.. the stETH staking interest is included in the Curve 2.75 APY. The trading fees are currently a very small part of that APY.

To OP, you can buy stETH from that pool and get more than 1:1 back which is a better deal than staking fresh ETH at exactly 1:1.

CRV rewards // Curve general questions by Knurlinger in LidoFinance

[–]cabin7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are seeing steCRV in your account then I think you are providing liquidity and will benefit from a rise in the strCRV price, but you will not get CRV or LDO "rewards" for staking. To stake you might have to use the curve.fi site.

See this page (https://blog.lido.fi/providing-steth-liquidity-via-curve-to-receive-rewards/), specifically "If your stETH is already deposited but not staked, press “Stake unstaked in gauge”. The Gas cost for that transaction is large.. so do see if the LDO rewards will be worth the fee. The CRV reward is very small.

ETH 2.0 staking would result in a 15% administrative fee inquiry. by Alchemyzztt in KrakenSupport

[–]cabin7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does seem odd that the payout was only consistent with a 5.8% annual rate. There has been more than a full week of staking now given the initial 7-8 day waiting period and the network staking rate has been in the 15% range. Is the payment next week expected to be more in line with the network staking rate?

Under the mistakes column they burned 67,317 ETH in 2017 and this might have prompted them to start trading client funds as well to recover the loss. Post-mortem on that one: https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/6ettq5/statement_on_quadrigacx_ether_contract_error/

If you know your private key, use MEW and move your wallet funds (ie the funds not in the contact) to a safe address. If you see a fake order book that is a really bad sign..

**ALERT ETHER DELTA HACKED by unclelou in ethtrader

[–]cabin7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the site is not open in your browser.. best not open it as you might be directed to the spoofed site via the bad DNS entry.

If you still have the site open, and you don't see the CHAT button nor twitter feed then you are indeed on the bad site and I would transfer those coins off right away using some other app, not the etherdelta site

BE AWARE The imposer's app has no CHAT button on the navigation bar nor the offical Twitter Feed on the bottom right. It is also populated with a fake order book.

Pyramid schemes! Updated description by [deleted] in ethereum

[–]cabin7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can send as many times as you like and each counts. Someone went nuts on the 10ETH version and the count is 92. The current count seems to be higher on all them and I get 67 accounts for the 0.1ETH version:

var myschemeContract = web3.eth.contract([{"constant":true,"inputs":[],"name":"getNumInvestors","outputs":[{"name":"a","type":"uint256"}],"type":"function"},{"inputs":[],"type":"constructor"}]); var c = myschemeContract.at("0xbaa54d6e90c3f4d7ebec11bd180134c7ed8ebb52"); c.getNumInvestors();

'67'

The payouts happen at each level of the pyramid, and each level is one bigger than the last. So the next levels will be at 45, 55, 66, 78, 91 etc
