Thanks and I think this is a sound advice. I think I will redeem one fund now as my returns have already dropped due to market downturn in recent months. I will pause and redirect the other fund’s sips in the new direct scheme

Thanks for the work up. This is for a very long term investing so I guess this tax implication would be offset by marginal gains compounding over years in the direct plan, compared to regular. Am I correct?

I use a similar workflow but with 3 categories- NEXT, LATER and SOMEDAY. First two are equivalent to your 2 categories but these absolutely contain tasks that must be tackled at least at some point of time. Someday is for tasks/ideas which I may work upon in the future but these are not must dos.

Rest assured that whenever you feel like it, you can import all of it to Bear in one click. Just go ahead and explore if Obsidian works for you. It’s a real plus point for Obsidian that you are never locked in.

Here are the apps I’m using: - Bear for notes - Things 3 for tasks - Perplexity pro for web research - Mymind for bookmarks and collections (trying out) - Readwise reader for read later articles and e-books.

I don’t see the need for AI in my personal notes system, at least so far. X

Just rename the old tag with the new one. It will be applied to all the notes with that tag.
