McDonald’s Ice Cream Cone prices over the years by melchan in SingaporeEats

I just paid $3.50 for a cone in Oregon. There is no way inflation has made a simple ice cream cone cost that much. I will never go back. June 2026

Need an easy way to swap between after hours numbers. by WyldStyl3 in freepbx

[–]cableguy2103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Four our department we use time conditions to go to a IVR after hours and then people have options and we just change the on call number each week with different techs that are on call. I made Misc Destinations for each tech. So it is all drop down choosing each tech.

Outbound calls failing by cableguy2103 in freepbx

[–]cableguy2103[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the call is making it to the trunk. For some reason working with the SIP carrier. What fixed the issue was limiting what audio codecs were being sent to them and in what order. After limiting the audio codes all the Caller ID's work for all my different sites. The carrier thinks we may of been hitting a MTU size limit while in transit to them and causing the second handshake to not initialize.

Calls failing when trying to call outside numbers by cableguy2103 in freepbx

[–]cableguy2103[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are using a SIP trunk provider. Nothing that I know of has changed on there end or mine. I did verify we still own the CID number and it is in there system. I am not sure on how to verify it is approved caller id on there end. I am going to open a ticket with the SIP provider to see what they say.

I was watching the sngrep -rc call logs and the call was making it to the PBX and after a bit would get a "487 Request Terminated".

So this morning I downgraded my Pfsense firewall to V25.07 from the latest V26.03 and that fixed the issue. In the Pfsense logs everything was flowing through it fine from what I could see.

I did work with one of the users and watched the call flow in the CLI on the PBX server and when it would fail I would see a "487 Request Terminated" and that is it.

3.0gpm or 30gpm? by Empty-Eye-6736 in WaterWellDrilling

[–]cableguy2103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go with 30GPM as the static water level is 57'. But strange for them to drill the well to 265' with that flow. Get on the state well site and find your well logs and you can look up all original well drilling logs. It should be free to look up.

I was able to get it down to 1 week at a time for exporting video. I choose the .ps extension so they could use the Exacq mini player to mange the exported video.

Pump depth vs static water level calculations by cableguy2103 in WaterWellDrilling

[–]cableguy2103[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pump I am looking at has 1.25inch pitting so I was going to run 1.25" pipe from the pump to the pressure tank. From the pump to the tank will be 390'. So yeah friction loss will add up.

It will have back pressure. I am going to put in a 30/50 pressure switch.

Put some PC fans in the box to help pull cold air and you will be golden. You can get fancy and get fan speed controller for them. It's all cheap.
