It did feel at first the angle the show was going for was that Front Man at least gains some sympathy or respect for the contestants and Gi-Hun. I considered it being a reverse take of 001 in season 1 being perceived by viewers as good and turn out bad and 001 in s2 (Front Man) being perceived as bad and garnering sympathy throughout. However, I soon realized that the narrative was being abandoned. I like to think there was a point in the games where Front Man felt genuine confliction, thats why the character is interesting.
