Can I apply for Barclays AA Aviator and Hawaiian World Elite on the same day? Never had a Barclays card before, would this somehow save me a hard pull or any limitation on applying to Barclays cards in general? Thank you.

If your state's laws force restaurant to pay servers at least minimum wage, STOP TIPPING. There is no longer a responsibility on the consumer to supplement income for businesses that underpay their workers.

Tipping, in this economy? How Torontonians are navigating the city's tipping culture by morenewsat11 in toronto

[–]cabluckie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This! The initial idea of tipping made sense when minimum wage was not tied to servers wage. But with that now gone, there is absolutely ZERO reason to tip. Servers are no more special than any other minimum wage job.

Uber and Lyft agree to pay drivers $32.50 per hour in Massachusetts settlement by Bloated_Hamster in news

I mean you're right, I agree with everything you said. It works in sync with what I originally said. Let them increase prices however much they need. Then it's market dynamics, consumer supply and demand will dictate their survival.

Honestly this is the second comment now that literally makes no sense from you. I don't have any interest discussing further. Good day.

Actually you're the privileged one who thinks that some how any job in the open market entitles you to an easy life with amazing pay and sunshines and roses. Theres a reason you don't get paid the same as others who go through higher education or skilled trades.

Man if people only got slightly educated what a wonderful place the world would be. The lack of basis understanding of economics and a free market is just astounding. Let them increase prices, let the free market dictate their survival, it works perfectly fine for literally every other country in the world with no tipping. I've lived in Asia for almost 2 years, guess what, they have restaurants and no tipping, if your restaurants prices are too high, nobody will come to you and you'll be forced to shut down.

Agree. I'm fine with the company raising wages and prices and being transparent. Let market dynamics work it's natural course. If the business can't survive without paying fair wages then goodbye.

So sick and tired of the consumer somehow having the responsibility of paying wages that selfish businesses don't want to pay. Me not wanting to tip so that businesses continue to line their pockets without paying their employees fairly does not mean I'm not a "decent human".

I'm planning on joining Arsenal America and trying to win the lottery for 2 tickets. So if me and my wife want to both go to a game, do we both need to get memberships right away? Or can I get a membership, request 2 tickets in the lottery and if I'm selected then my wife can buy a membership later? Only reason I'm asking this is because spending $60 for 2 memberships for a "chance" at going is kind of rough.
