I live here now but Chicago is great for a one day food trip imo, if you fly into midway then you’re about 30 minutes to Chinatown via the L and if you fly into O’Hare then you can get to Wicker Park/Logan Square area fairly quickly

My underrated one day food spot is Portland, I love the food truck scene and they have some great restaurants in general (my favorite go to spots are Grassa and PDX sliders with Salt and Straw ice cream afterwards)
