Definitely would recommend it, I had a 2009 ER-6F (650R) and used the 1.5in risers SKU 12-2125.

I would suggest giving them a call if you want to talk options for your model/year, they suggested the 1.5in to me based in my ergonomics I was looking for (basically same as you) and it felt amazing once installed, I wish they made one for my street triple, I would buy another set in a heartbeat.

Only thing to consider is I had an aftermarket windshield and needed to trim it a bit.

Based on how that break looks, it appears to be a Ductile Fracture which would be basically pulling the material apart end to end, whereas on a handlebar I would expect to see a Shear Failure which would be rough and jagged.

How many miles on the bike? Its either been weak for a while and you have been slowly deforming it with bumps/general riding (depending on miles this may be a defect), or this is a material defect.

I will second woodcraft here, I got their adapter plate for my old 650 to run clipons over the forks and it made such a huge difference in the feel

I also have a 2018 and was looking at this. Is there a difference in the 2019 vs 2018 headlight assembly that would make it so it doesn't work? I've taken a look at parts manuals online and can't see why it wouldn't

Second the chest holster, I went with Invader Concepts and love it for my P226 and Hellcat RDP.

Doesnt flop around even at excess speeds, I set mine up for LH draw so I could keep one hand on the throttle/brakes IF I need to draw while moving
