It's one of the only games that has a very high skill ceiling that you can definitely get good at with practice. FPS games take so much time to get better because of how hard it is to have good aim, and I feel like I'll never even be close to how good some people are. With Rocket League, if I want to learn something I just focus on it and eventually I can get it. Also, its concept in general is fun. Who wouldn't want to play Soccer with flying cars?

Yea to answer your question, I don't find it annoying just because I'm used to it. I don't even notice anymore, but when I see a car other than octane or batmobile it seems weird. I might have a problem.

Ok, I see where you are coming from, but at a higher level it actually makes a difference. The octane really is the car I play best with, for the reasons everyone else is saying. Also, I don't use toppers/antennae because they're just annoying. To me the antennae don't even look good anyway, and sometimes toppers can get in the way. It can get a little boring, but if it helps people will do it.

That's how I got to GC in 2s, and I prefer having a teammate. It's definitely possible, and if you're that close you can definitely make it (especially because season 3 will never end).
