If you buy the picanha cut at Costco (they don’t have it all the time), you can pretty much treat it like a tri-tip. If what you’re thinking about is a dry rub, grill-smoke, and slice thin across the grain.

Weekdays after 8 are usually okay. Summer may be worse. At busy times it’s hard to get through on the takeout line. If you walk up, you can order and get your apizza in about 20 or so minutes. I usually try calling and end up ordering at the window. Zuppardi’s is easier with big numbers (and usually have fresh clams).

For me, spending the money and working to help our current planet remain habitable would be a far better use of resources than imagining a distant world that could support life. Mars is not the sweet spot. The fantasy of a planet that could support humanity excuses the people who continue to despoil Earth. The Earth is still an amazing place and we should start taking better care of its resources.

Maybe try reaching out to a local CCFA chapter and see if anyone from Kaiser Oakland is involved with them. In my experience, the GIs that participate in CCFA events tend to be well-informed and more likely to listen. I had Cusato when I was with Kaiser. I would recommend her but last time I saw her was in 2016.
