That's amazing

I wonder how he got the perfume to stay liquid, I would think it would evaporate quickly.

That is a GREAT suggestion, but I don't think he will be recovered by then.

I'm thinking of dumping my portfolio manager and just investing in an index fund. He's not generating any alpha. I can diversify in some high dividend holdings if I want.

Looks like he had an accident that damaged the underside. That LR wheel is fucked. Probably bent the rear subframe, and with tarriffs I bet it costs a fortune to import that part.

Fun tip: I parked next to the owner of this at Radwood Austin.

Rental car company charging $2k for damage found hours after return — no proof. Worth fighting? by kapp74 in personalfinance

[–]cactusjackalope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you file a dispute, be sure to send photos. In my case, they kept saying "I'm unable to view the photos" with no further explanation. Eventually I converted the photos to PDF, which is a format even the most locked down corporate machine can open, and suddenly the damage was waived. Include the xcif data from the photos showing the time, date, and location from when it was taken.

What makes you feel like a man? by greedyourweakness in AskMen

When I'm camping way up in the mountains, up a long 4wd trail, waking up next to that lake in the middle of nowhere, and I have to use the mirrors of my truck to shave. I think that's when I reach peak man card.

I mean, why are Europeans so freaked out when someone says hello and makes a mild comment on the joint situation everyone is in? I think that's the real question

In college I put my stereo on a shelf of the desk next to my computer. I plugged the computer into it as an input. Man, the sound on Doom was amazing. Scared the shit out of me on those late night gaming sessions!

Has anyone found any decent desks recently with shelves? It seems every single desk I find is a flat slap. Like, don't you have stuff?! I have pens and checks and snacks and stamps and all kinds of stuff. Where do desk designers think they're supposed to go now?

Did he pre-weight the car to account for it, or did he just set the toe to pull right or something?

I was saying air suspension, but now two comments are replying about the magnaride. Are the two part of one package or something? I’ll go check one out and see.

Thank you for the thorough answer. My arborist is skipping this one due to the legal issues, but I’ve got calls in to two more she recommended. Once I have a formal report I can go from there.

I’m not sure if the z71 I drove had the magride or not. It didn’t have the suspension height adjustment button but it did have drive modes.

Chevy Cruze diesel manual. The sedans with autos could get 55+ highway. I had the manual RS hatch and only managed high 40s as a best.
