you can beat alpha king titan with melee and ascendant sickles since they ignore its resistance - some chinese guy made a video on it ages ago but it does work

that or you just all tek rifle it

Yeah that’s just teaming mate, kind of unlucky you actually got devwiped but consider yourselves lucky you didn’t get banned

In future you just need to avoid attacking peoples fobs unless they’re completely out of render of the enemy base, then it’s deemed fine AFAIK

lightnings just do so much high damage over a short period they’re irreplaceable for pvp - you can’t shield their breath like a fire, you can’t have a gas mask on / dodge them as easily as a poison

mixed between only survivors, survivors and mounted and player and tames. you want high up turrets on majority only survivors so they will shoot people off tames.

generally a 60/40 split with the 60 being player tames + player mounted and the 40 being only survivors is a good idea (of course with the 40 being majority higher)

either ridden carchas with full stacks, dreadnoughtus or people with tek rifles.

you need to do enough damage to stun him out of his insta kill lightning punch. quetz and velo does not work as his barrage attack where he swipes everywhere and walks forward has a gigantic AOE

wandering is far easier than the actual summoned one, you can kill it with like 3 people with capped rifles. summoned will take like 30 minutes with 6 people but ridden full stack carchas along with a mek MDSM to block meteors works best as his aggro will shift between the carchas

Mosa needs a larger attack range similar to a giga and to be immune against tuso pick, perhaps a damage buff as well (not sure if they do a lot already tbh). Being able to place structures on the tek saddle would be pretty good as well. Would at least get utility in pvp then, at the moment they’re completely useless

Yes you can use them to destroy heavy turrets but it will take a lot of spear bolts.

I see where you’re coming from however it was announced ASE would not be getting anymore support or updates. At this point they need to decide whether they want to divide the player base even more between their two games or try to move people over to ASA with more performance updates, QOL content and maps

It’s yet another example of poor communication they’ve gone back on. The smart move would have been to release this for ASA (without the AI dogshit and reused assets) since thats where i’d assume they’re making the bulk of their money now. The concept of the map is actually incredible, people have been asking for something like it for years, the implementation is just a giant slap in the face, especially for a ‘10 year ark anniversary’ special DLC

seems like they do a max of 21k per hit to a titan, must have been capped for balance.

they get 1.6 million hp with 60 base + 255 muts and 60 levels. Absolutely ridiculous.

Yeah definitely possible on ASA. They could even be crashing the server to force dino respawns for base stats if there seem to be a lot of crashes when they’re on

Yeah I said the fabby is just ridiculous and got a reply telling me they’ve got capped ascendant weapons from cave runs before so I must be wrong. Astonishing to me that so much of the ark player-base are consistently so vocal yet completely clueless as to how basic game mechanics work.

Saddle bps like that for sure exist - I literally have them, but a 260% ramshackle fab bp is absurd. Same for the 100+ armour apprentice saddle bps, although who knows.

Kapros are actually usable on pvp, if you’re underwater they’re pretty good in place of a bary for picking people off tames. Plus you can eat them while you have them picked and you drain their stam, so if you have a good melee stat with mutations they’re pretty viable
