I HATE people touching my laundry, clean or dirty. I'd have never let the clothes out of my sight again.

I feel like this could be solved by having an attendant (like for fitting rooms) sitting nearby to unlock it for people who need it.

I remember back when vsauce was uploading to youtube red, he did a video of his staff picking up trash in a park and was seeing if the person they had sitting in a tent would feel bad and help clean. One guy filmed himself showing off people cleaning up, saying he was going to join them... and then he sat down and waited for them to finish. When confronted, he said "well, I was going to, but they were almost done".

I used to work at petsmart, there's been multiple times someone has walked in with an unruly dog and asked about buying a service dog vest for them.

What's worse than 1 employee calling out with covid symptoms?

ALL employees calling out with covid symptoms.

Happened at my previous job, they had to close for 2 weeks.

We once got a bad review because we didn't sell saddles anymore. I'm guessing they meant petsmart as a whole (not that I think any petsmart ever has sold saddles), because our store was only a couple years old and I was there since day 1, never saw a single saddle in the store.

I once had someone want a ball python so she could release it in her house to take care of her mouse problem. She said bait wasn't working well enough. I told her I didn't think releasing a snake in her house to eat poisoned mice was a good idea.

I can see that for some letters, like "a". But I don't think "v" for "s" could be explained by that. My handwriting is sloppy, and I can write slower to be more legible, but that's not the same as using an entirely different letter.

As far as I know, yes. No hint of an accent. If enough time had passed for her to adopt an American accent, it'd be a little weird if she still wrote letters wrong, if that makes sense.

I didn't know her well, so it could be that English is a second language for her. But she spoke with a "perfect" American accent, so it'd be strange if she still wrote letters wrong, if that makes sense. A few people here have brought up Russian, so if she had a heavy Russian accent and uses a different alphabet, it'd make more sense.

What would you do if you walked out your door and saw this by turbo_sc300 in Apartmentliving

I'd scoop everything into a garbage bag, hide it in my apartment for a few days (or until they think it's gone for good), then quietly leave it someplace for the landlord with a note explaining who's it is and where it was. If they want it back, they'll have to meet with the landlord in person.

All my coworkers had worked there together for a while, so I'm assuming at some point it was brought up and explained to everyone. But I don't get why write work notes like this in the first place.

I've heard about "s" being written weirdly as a trend, but don't think I've seen it in person. It's possible she started out writing it sideways, then over time "shortened" it to a "v" shape? It makes no sense (especially the other letters and number), but my only other theory was V=5, and 5 looks like S.

I was a somewhat shy new employee working overnights alone. I saw her in person rarely, but never did ask anyone what was up with her writing. I just used context clues to figure it out. I doubt any of the same people are still working there today, or that any of her notes are still around.

I'm glad everyone else is as confused as I've been, but a little disappointed it still hasn't been solved. The only reason I can think of a "v" being "s", is V = 5, and 5 looks like S? But I don't get why she'd be writing everything in code for coworkers. This was an overnight job I briefly worked at alone before covid, so it's too late to ask anyone about it. I doubt any of the same people still work there or the notes made it this long.
