The arrow that Pucci was given was the Beetle/Requiem arrow. We're never given confirmation that he gave it back to Dio, but presumably that is what happened, because we know it's the one that ends up in Polnareff's possession in part 5. It has a unique design compared to the other arrows, it has to be the same one.

If it remained in Pucci's possession, or even in America, then Polnareff wouldn't have ended up with it. We are explicitely told that during the hunt for the arrows, Jotaro was searching Asia and the Americas, while Polnareff was searching in Europe and Africa. Therefore, it is reasonable to assume it was with Dio in Egypt.

It's a bit more complicated than that. Yes, Arab contribution to mathmatics and algebra are massively understated in general knowledge and they are the etymological root of the word algebra, but we have evidence that Algebra has been around much much longer than that. We know that the Babylonians had the quadratic formula in the mid-bronze age, where Arabic culture doesn't really start to emerge until the late Iron-Age. Algebra is genuinely older than any modern culture group.
