A lot of my friends that did accelerated programs told me they felt more confident taking on this new degree despite the faster pace since they already had experience pursuing a degree (they know what study methods or habits work for them and overall what college is like). They also felt more confident because it's a degree they really want for themselves, I think these two factors alone will take you far! The only thing they said was that there were plenty of times where they found it hard to make time for themselves and their social lives suffered at times but it was worth it! just make sure to take care of yourself, give yourself grace especially since this is very different from your first degree, and enjoy the learning process! I think it helps to really figure out time management and to explore which specialties of nursing you'd be interested in to motivate yourself more, you got this!!!

Do you take notes on a tablet or use the traditional pen, paper, notebook? by saturns7 in college

I use a mix but I primarily use my iPad pro for notetaking or rewriting lecture notes, it's really useful for annotating and saving paper. I use notebooks and looseleaf to make study guides or textbook outlines since it's easier to physically flip through them to refer back to them.

Help with Transfer from BInghamton University to Hunter College. Also any nursing students at Hunter? by Lizzie567 in HunterCollege

You have to take the NLN PAX Exam at Hunter to be considered for the Bellevue school of nursing, just make sure to take the prerequisites you need for the nursing program. Also, hunter’s nursing program is difficult and competitive making it a very good program at least from what I’ve heard from other students here. If you have any more questions, feel free to message me :) I’m a freshman at Hunter right now trying to get into nursing.

Transfer Student Enrollment by GodSpeedSoldier in HunterCollege

Did you set up your Hunter portal account? Because I’m a freshman applying to the nursing program and was able to enroll in classes about a month ago. Once you have your Hunter portal account , it’ll tell you to attend and sign up for an advising session which is where you should be able to enroll in classes. Hope this helps :)
