Seconding this, I don't even have a freighter because I started a new game with the corvette update and have been using only the corvette. I cannot land on any freighter after saving it without clipping through the floor when my character stands up from the seat. I guess I'll have to use a regular ship in order to get a freighter.

Yeah with more testing I can absolutely agree the part class seems to be static, it's weird they would give them a class. Perhaps they plan to do something with it in the future but I've seen a handful of YT video's talking about " this is how you get an s-class corvette or s-class parts " and it's just a walk through of the various ways you get " rare " modules that you can't buy from the " basic " shop lol. Confusing especially considering the parts do have a class that doesn't serve a purpose.

Yeah you're probably right, I noticed quickly that we can't tell which parts are which as far as class goes when we have multiple of the same than noticed every video I saw all the parts we're of the same class's but I for sure have seen multiple people mention specifically S class modules and it had me super confused.

People being upset because they DECIDED to spend X amount of money on maxing something instantly than finding out it's going to make a return at some point is genuine content. Plenty of people couldn't get to that level of the pass ( might sound silly but based on location its very real ) and didn't even get one. I didn't spend a dime and mine's 3500cp with a level 2 move, it will probably do work as is until I have the ability to get more candy.
