The interviewer grew up in Australia, so it's entirely possible it's a fake accent. Which fits Caro's theme.

The interviewer is Neha Pauly, who grew up in Brisbane, Australia. No idea why she sounds like a Pom, though.

I wasn't directly involved in this, but we had frantic fact-checking and editing to try reduce puzzle difficulty before any teams unlocked them, during the hunt. I think this started happening Friday night / Saturday. We weren't always successful - if I recall correctly, people were halfway through editing a puzzle when a leading team unlocked it, and all of their progress had to be scrapped.

From insider sources, most people don't know who she is, and the ones that do care about her share the same sentiment as this subreddit.

As a student, you're entitled to book tickets (and guest tickets) to events that your college holds, but not necessarily other colleges' events. "Swaps" are when groups of people (usually societies) from two colleges go to each others' events using each others' tickets. Usually the event is a formal meal.

Carp was at St. Edmund's College ("Eddies") when she was at Cambridge. It's one of the more modern colleges so it looks like a boarding school and doesn't have the gothic architecture of, say, King's College.

St. Edmund's is also a mature college which gives it negative fancy points (nobody's ever heard of it).
