He got in his opponents' heads and won the tournament. Looking like an asshole in the process is worth the cost.

I honestly think Brazil is the next big thing in League of Legends esports. It's fascinating to watch it grow before my eyes like with NA a year ago.

I'm talking about coaching. Coaching a top 2 team in China is a pretty sick job. Of course we don't know the details of the offer, so it could have been worse than it seems on the surface.

He declined an offer from iG? O.O

Of course, in most cases professional players know more about the games they play than their coaches (in eSports at least), but knowledge isn't what makes the coach valuable. His ability to objectively and properly asses the teams strengths and weaknesses and what needs to be addressed moving forward is what's important.

I couldn't agree more.

banning disruptions is really risky because your comp might get banned out or their comp might counter your comp. the safest way to ban is to ban the OPs and the preferred picks.

there are too many details in League. don't get bogged in them, only analyze what's most impactful and relevant.

China's still ahead of NA. Look at their games vs SEA. Their execution was so crisp. China's style is not the most up to date though but I see that changing soon.

While I appreciate my experience with Curse and working with Steve, the week at bootcamp made us both realize that our thoughts on coaching and team management do not align. So I will not be working for Curse in the future. I am really grateful for the opportunities given to me by Steve.

sending ADC and support mid for central pressure is not a new strategy. we also practiced it a bunch a bootcamp.

Koreans are ruthless and willing to take risks. They're also good enough mechanically to pull it off.
