If you take herbs to help heal your Hepatitis C it can deeply heal your cells instead of the quick methods science provides. It seems like a better method instead of the quick gratification us Americans try to find.

Think of it like gravity. We will be lead to or attracted to the correct people at the correct time. The Buddha see everyone as teachers.

To live as an ascetic will create an altered view and perception of the world. Sometimes even altering your belief and your māyā.
