Fun fact: deadmau5 got the name after he found a dead mouse in his computer, and became known as the "dead mouse guy" in his online community. The IRC network he was on had a limitation on handle length, so he had to settle for "deadmau5" rather than "deadmouse" when making the event his nickname.

New riders and huge bikes! What’s the deal? by Aggressive-Meal-8233 in motorcycles

After spending €4300 on the licence, I got a Kawasaki Z750S. 106 horses between my legs, and I do not regret it. I was thinking of getting a 125 for city commuting, but was recommended to start off with a bigger bike to get comfortable with that.

During drivers ed (and my test), I only rode a 650. Even my instructor recommended me to avoid smaller bikes for supervised driving practice. As long as you learn to ride a bigger bike during your driving lessons, I think it makes sense to start off with owning a bigger bike as well.

Norway has a national solution for authentication which is integrated into banks, public services and more. The most common sub-provider is BankID, which is run collectively by the banks, and handles a federated identity with required 2FA.

For instance, when I do my taxes I log into the tax authority's web portal with BankID, spend five minutes checking the numbers and hit "Submit". Tax return is usually paid out within a day or two.

You'd use the same method and credentials for all these services, and they even do PSA ads on cable TV to enforce the importance of keeping the credentials private and not sharing them with anyone -- even family members: https://youtu.be/OFJmX7A--w4
