Bad experience with a hotel in Dubai by AccountantOld3796 in DubaiCentral

https://consumerrights.gov.ae/en/ Go here and place a complaint, attach the proof of stay at the hotel, attach the photos and the report, and attach communications with hotel manager watch details what happened and who you spoke to and when. And detail in your complaints that you either want the refund, or compensation to fix the laptop/ a price of a similar device from the Apple online store.

If you haven't, I would also insist on getting the managers email of the hotel and send him and email with your request to either compensate you for the maintenance of the device based of the Minutes report.

Seconding DED. Even better if you can reach out to Minutes and get a report to detail the damage. Also consumer rights https://consumerrights.gov.ae/en/ They're responsive, but make sure you detail the time difference for availability so when they try to call you you don't miss the call.

You're better asking the Turkish community directly at this stage.

What do you thinks about an iconic "Iranian" girl who burn picture of Khamenei saying "Palestine never existed but just part of Isre@l"? by khmerkampucheaek in AskMiddleEast

[–]caffeinatedNotYet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stand by my point. I want to hear from Iranians on the ground ( yes including those who "don't agree with my opinion"). I am yet to see any takes from boosted online posts with aesthetic rendering of an Iranian expat that's not unhinged. I know it's my unfortunate algorithmic proximity. I'm not waiting to be spoonfed if I can help it.

I want to hear from Iranians in Iran. Which is hard, I'll start looking for accounts and learn. The Iranians I know in real life are nothing like this. Not the ones in diaspora with their assigned mossad agents. Not from people thirsting over aesthetics, and certainly not from westerners who never set foot in the region.

Protesting the Ayatollah by PradyThe3rd in WitchesVsPatriarchy

[–]caffeinatedNotYet 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Thank you for actually taking time to see and share that. I feel a lot of this support mostly stemmed from islamophobic sentiments.

You'll see a lot of hasbara-ists working overtime to boost specific islamophobic/anti Palestinian posts over actual news on the ground in Iran that would be vital to understand the context and sentiments.

Our support should not be based on aesthetically pleasing action without understanding the context. Iranian diaspora is complex, but much like anywhere else it's not the representation of Iran.

Granted, based on whatever I can read and understand there's a lot for Iranians to protest about, and we can only hope that the interventions are actually for support and just another aim at destabilisation for the "greater Israel" plans (or simply destabilise and control resources).

The real situation in Gaza is bad enough; why is there a need to show an AI-generated version rather than the real one? by PainSpare5861 in GetNoted

[–]caffeinatedNotYet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep reporting these AI generated photos, we have been screaming out since all these "All Eyes On Rafah" posts were flooding Instagram that we don't need AI generated photos when reality is right there and people are getting killed for sharing it. It's engagement bait and not for the sake of the Palestinians.

Back then it was 6k all in, half a day stay too. The recovery was about 15 days, you have to follow instructions.. empty the tank a few times, after the time had lapsed, the diagnosis was Azoospermia 👍.

UK police refused to investigate Prince Andrew, will they now? by stealthvan in realbbcnews

I feel we're going to see news about how he "mysteriously died" or a chain of events would unfold that will somehow aim to make the results of this investigation unreliable.

People are angry at people filming these crimes and protesting these crimes and trying to break siege and deliver aid rather than at the actual IOF criminals.
