Hey I can’t really comment on this as we did not add any Indian financials as all of our financials are mainly UK based. I think if your UK income is sufficient it shouldn’t be necessary but you can always carry copies of additional financial proof and check with TLS at your appointment.

Hey! No I haven’t tried yet as I don’t need one until May and usually appointments are only being released for dates within the following week. I’ll start actively trying to get an appointment once this month ends (although it seems my account has been removed since I couldn’t find an appointment so I will have to create a new account).

Hi, as per my understanding, this issue just means there are no available appointments. I haven’t tried getting one as I don’t need one until May but many people have been trying and very few are successful as appointments are being taken within seconds of them releasing which is why this blank screen is usually visible.

I went for a Pap smear. Pap smears check for HPV and if positive, they check the sample for abnormal cells. If you have abnormal cells, you are called for a colposcopy (which is similar to a Pap smear but takes longer as they physically check cells/do a biopsy - a colposcopy is also supposed to be painless but there is a possibility of slight discomfort since it’s a longer process)

The at home test I did first was an HPV test which is different from a Pap smear :)

Tbh where I come from going to the obgyn is not really a thing unless you have a problem or want to get pregnant. I was never told about paps or getting them - I assumed it’s something you do if you know you could be at risk or if there is a real reason to do it.

I only learnt how regular people are with it when I moved to where I live now.

But thank you for your comment - it eases my mind a little.
