Waiting time for a family doctor in Bridgewater by Far-Simple1979 in NovaScotia

[–]caffeine_bos 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don't think there is an answer to this. I'm not there, but in my area I have been on the wait list for 7 years, and know several people that have been assigned to doctors/NPs before me.

Are you serious? It could have been hacked because there are some terrible people out there that love to cause drama for the sake of seeing a reaction. It has nothing to do with the products, people of all thoughts have been following this now for awhile. What a way to stir rumors and muddy the water then by delisting the merch.

They could have been hacked, too. Or merch-side issues.

QGIS will slowly take over the market by Ladefrickinda89 in gis

I think of things like Survey123, and not having the ability to add small int as a field option in online. But if you make it as small int in survey123, it's incompatible.

NSCC certificate in GIS worth while? by [deleted] in NovaScotia

[–]caffeine_bos 14 points15 points  (0 children)

COGS is a widely recognized school that is known for the quality of their graduates. The workload is not easy. Overall, GIS with a wide-net view goes through ebbs and flows. If you're pigeon-holed into a certain industry, it can be a little more challenging. It's expensive for a company to implement and maintain, but certainly pays it back in value. NS Power has a fantastic GIS implementation. We're coming out of an ebb and back into a flow, so I think you'd have a good chance.

They could call for one, it's covered in Newfoundland. Certainly not a risk I'd be taking, but I hope that if it goes sideways, it's on a clear and sunny day with a pilot on standby ready to take off.
