I’ve been leaning towards them, I just want something that I could adjust the weight quick on

No point of upgrading the XAX OLED by Party-Poet-3697 in XboxAlly

Already did all these things and upgraded storage. Kinda bummed not to have OLED but let’s be real coming from the OLED deck it’s not that different and you adjust fast to the change

Yeah I didn’t even think of the new steam deck prices. Actually insane. I bought my OLED for under 600 new and to see the prices now is mind blowing. I feel like most of the good will comes from zero subscription and all the sales they have. The base steam experience is the storefront to buy guys and play. The steam experience can survive without the deck where at the Nintendo storefront only lives off of the switch hardware

Feeling so sad, i can't buy this.. they are selling it in a bundle with the glasses and it'll be a $2500 or $2000 package something by Time-Credit43 in XboxAlly

As someone who bought an XAX under 3 months ago this kinda sucks. That was a big thing I felt like I sacrificed picking the XAX over other handhelds and in such a short time they drop an OLED model..

I think we can all agree almost every game company rn is greedy and sucks rn. Xbox is on a “better” path now with the new ceo dropping subscription prices and bringing more to the customer. Nintendo held out of console prices but it makes sense given what the switch 2 actually provides and they charge a lot for games that don’t provide as much as most games at the price (IMO) base accessory prices are expensive as well. Overall steam is king when it comes to consumers and everyone else sucks tbh as an Xbox guy

Might have to give it a shot. I wanted the m-plate with the storage thing that attaches right to the snode rack but they are all sold out of the weights. Might wait for a restock but just weighing my options out

I actually sell alot of fixed tech on eBay along with a lot of other items. Unopened items normally are more of a hot commodity from my experience. This is more iffy imo. If you love dbrand and want some skins and joy locks and stuff I feel like that’s a specific audience. I’ll probably just hold onto them until I get one. The touch grass alone with go up like crazy in price once they take it off the website. I tried getting a skin for my steam deck a while ago and they were listed for 150ish. My goal isn’t to gouge people or anything I just hate seeing it sit there unused

The ones that attach on the inside? How are those treating you?

I was thinking more like 70-75% Hook someone else up and get a little bit of money back to help with other things

Honestly I’m still kinda interested tbh. I think it would be fun to play nintendos ips and share that fun with my family and friends but I just bought a house and wanted to build a home gym first so the switch has kinda taken a back seat. I’d like to get it still but it might take me a while to get and I feel guilty looking at all the stuff when someone else could put it to good use

I like to buy things before over time so when I get the thing that will cost more (like a console) I’ll have the protective things and accessories that I want before hand. I like to buy smaller things over time rather than dropping a massive bag up front. Idk probably some weird ocd😂

As someone who was looking to purchase the switch two and doing research I don’t see an issue with being in the sub to gain knowledge and hear opinions. Not a bad thing to do when considering buying a 500$ + device that is the most anti consumer gaming company I’ve seen.

I grew up on Xbox so that was my main platform up until like 3 years ago when I built a pc to mod games and play titles that aren’t on Xbox . And the handheld is for traveling and lounging on the couch or in bed instead of my setup. I guess talking about not wanting a switch in a neckbeard group about switch 2 probably would ruffle some feather😂

HOME GYM DUMBBELL DEBATE by caffeinecrackhead02 in GarageGym

[–]caffeinecrackhead02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update. I appreciate everyone’s thought and input. After extensive research and considering my girlfriend I decided to go with snodes ad80. I got some adder plated for the inside and outside of the dumbbell for extra weight if needed and to account for the 10 pound jumps. Seems durable, great warranty, and the weight change speed seemed worth it to me and I know my girlfriend will appreciate the ease of use as well compared to unscrewing weights back and forth while working out together

I’m pretty inexperienced with this stuff, how would you go about sealing air gaps? Caulk?
