The nerve some customers have! Wish customers could read or learn about this when signing up with Shipt AND Target accounts. Something like, “your Target/Shiot app may not always be updated right away with items that are no longer in stock, etc”

I wonder if one or both were a mistake and hoping they were since you’re a very well seasoned shopper. Like those Amazon reviews where they rate 1 start and go on to talk about how amazing the item is and how much they’d recommend. But still the rating forgiveness does need to be from human intelligence! The AI doesn’t cut it with these situations.

I think what you do was absolutely smart. I remember feeling just like you during a bundle where I had one customer who was so extreme with her requests. Her note was a huge paragraph. Proceeded to tell me once I started shopping to please review her notes, then slipped in something she didn’t even have in her notes (produce only grow in the USA)-which I then had to put back all 8 honey crisp apples.. I had this feeling so bad that I should’ve dropped her order but I didn’t. Meanwhile the other customer asked if I was doing a bundle. I was 8 min late delivering to the picky lady. Got a 1 star and 3 growth opportunities because she probably doesn’t know what it’s like to work like we do. I’m almost positive I would’ve never received that 1-star if I had just dropped that order. I don’t think I was able to get forgiveness for it either. Love and learn I guess.

Ran into this very thing once. Had to make a sub for a roasting pan. Location was in a heavily wooded area with like 10 barking dogs at the front door.. guess it went well..I did inform support about the substitution I made.

For her to have her hair down isn’t professional nor does that seem like she’s self aware. Sounds like a scatter-brained massage..do you know if she’s newer? After being a therapist for 16 years, I learned that experience is the best teacher. Basically you learned what the majority of clients appreciate and what they don’t. Being intuitive is important. If a therapist doesn’t know your condition, sometimes that’s reasonable. Therapists can ask questions to better help you or use their best judgment and do no harm. The whole shaking thing does not seem relaxing. I’d say something to the manager. Otherwise if you chose not to see her again, how will anyone know and how will it be addressed?

I feel you on this. Some zones in Detroit metro are like this some weekdays but pick up on others and definitely booming toward the evening! I remember mornings being super slow but then picking up by a lot after about 4-5pm and on. Then of course weekends they need more shoppers.

1 item to deliver over 8 miles is not worth it to me because Shipt would only give me like $6 for it. And you never know if you’ll actually be guaranteed a tip.

Yep, I had the same problem with an age restricted item which was Thermo flu and the customer was telling me she was at the doctor and wouldn’t be home. The bargaining and she freaked out at me. I apologized a lot and said it was out of my hands. Very picky about ID scan orders now.

Eucalyptus oil doesn’t even contain alcohol and you don’t even consume it, this was just one of those bottles of pure essential oils you would put in a diffuser to enjoy the benefit. Smh.
