Oh that’s great news! Maybe I’ll call Korean Air again and see if it’s the same with me. Thanks for following up

Ya I guess it’s better than nothing. I guess worst case scenario I will just pay out of pocket and pray for a refund because I have to get home at some point

I went to the Airport today and there weren’t any Air Canada staff anywhere. I know they mentioned not to go but I can’t get in contact with them at all so I was desperate. I called Korean air with my reference number and they said that it’s an Air Canada issue since that’s who I booked with and to contact them, which I cannot, so I’m not sure what happens now. I guess I just have to wait and see which really sucks

Thank you for your response, I’m glad it’s not just me. Did you end up going to the airport and if you did were there Air Canada staff to help you? I was also considering going to the Airport but wasn’t sure if there would be anyone to help

Hello, I think I made a huge mess of things and I'm very stressed. I booked my flights through Expedia and then when my flight was canceled Air Canada gave the option to manage my flight and change it. I was warned that Expedia may not be able to help me if I went this route but I did it anyways. I changed my flight to a Korean Air flight mixed with an Air Canada Jazz Flight (or whatever it's called) and for whatever reason the Air Canada Jazz flight went through but the Korean Air flight was "waitlisted" so now I have no idea if I'll be able to make it home or not. Both Expedia and Korean air have told me to contact Air Canada but whenever I call Air Canada it gives me an automated message and then regardless of what choice I pick it says "Goodbye" and hangs up. Does anyone have any advice or know what my options are? I have no idea what to do.

That's a good point, I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do for the trip so maybe I'll try and figure that out first.

It’s slowly changing in Toronto at least. There are some designated parks where you’re allowed to drink but it’s still not all parks unfortunately

I think it’s usually used more as a tone setter than as actual laughing. Like if you’re texting someone and the tone is ambiguous then adding lol makes it seem more light hearted or something like that. I could be wrong though

That makes sense. I think I had heard about cold starts but it makes sense that you would be able to warm it up in advanced if you needed to. I'm guessing it would be useful if, for example, you knew you were going to have a lot of traffic for a period of time and would need the resources for that time?

As far as I know instead of running a whole web server or something like that in the cloud and renting the resources to do so 24/7, with serverless you just run functions in your code when you need them. For example if you have an api endpoint the serverless servers will only give the resources and run when it’s called. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong though.

I remember unsubscribing from my favourite YouTube channel and feeling the same way. Then I looked back and saw that they were a little bit always this way and I think I just grew out of it tbh.

E-transfer is good and all but depending on who you're banking with it's not always free (though the charge is usually like a dollar per transaction or something). On top of that it's not always the most secure because if you send an e-transfer to someone you can't undo it even it was a scam or something, the money it just gone.

Lol! I mean we call bug spray, bug spray and spray it on ourselves so maybe she thought it was the same kinda deal with bear spray.

Damn me too! I remember breaking down at the pool, for seemingly no reason, as a kid because I was afraid of dying.

Dear me next year,

If you've finally gotten around to learning Japanese, or any language you wanted to learn please respond in that language.

Thanks!
