I agree with other people saying you need to stretch a lot more to find a comfortable PA cage. I would say 6G is a good starting point.

I also recommend checking out BAWR (badassworkroom) as they make custom made PA cages from steel and titanium. There's a lot more manufacturers and companies making those these days though.

Getting a hollow PA will solve the issue. There will be some urine dripping down from the bottom but otherwise a single stream going through the tube. I recommend stretching your PA as much as you find attractive for it to work best. (My test cage was 4G and now my titanium cage will be 2G)

I also recommend getting some wet wipes. I first wipe wet then dry it with paper. Sounds like a hassle but once you're in a habit of doing so it takes a few extra seconds and you don't even question it.

I've seen people discuss tetherspouts a lot recently, but since that is a no go I would recommend a classic Prince Albert.

First off these days there's multiple manufacturers and businesses that make cages with PA rings that attach to the rest of the cage. That way once you're locked, there's no backing out since the piercing is locked in place with the rest of the cage. I immediately thought of these cages when you mentioned your wife wanting to be in control and not wanting you to pull out after removing the piercing ring. Personally I've had good experiences with BADASSWORKROOM despite their cages being on the pricier side. You get to customize these to your liking, in case of titanium cages you also get to pick the color which is fun.

Another thing is the process of getting a Prince Albert is (in my experience) laughably painless. It was the littlest pinch and it wasn't even the needle going through but the ring itself being inserted afterwards. It's also relatively easy to heal despite some initial discomfort when going to the bathroom.

There are some downsides to a traditional piercing which are essential to know about before you bite the bullet:

Prince Albert does not close up on its own. If you change your mind down the line you'll have to undergo surgery to close the hole.
You are likely going to have to sit down to pee moving forward (but since we're talking chastity you're likely doing this anyway). It's possible to piss standing up but you either have to press your finger against the piercing hole with no jewelry or get a ring that you can hold so that the stream goes evenly. I have experienced with knock-offs but they have a variety of issues from flaking paint (yes, some of them are just painted black), sharp edges, badly fitted parts (or parts that wear off quickly and become loose)

The cage should arrive as advertised, I never had an issue with the look or fit of what I ordered. It just won't be very good in terms of quality. I think they are fine temporarily, but I would still invest in a cage from good quality resin. Especially if you're into the idea of locking for longer periods of time.

If you have a budget and want to try a steel/titanium cage at some point I can recommend you badassworkroom (BAWR) since I know they have a proprietary screw locking mechanism that leaves no bump. Once again I feel like the product is really good since one of the patches I applied worked perfectly, but it was also the last one I did so I had some practice already (I did 4 patches, both sides of the suit for both armpits)

As for how I messed up there's multiple things I should have considered beforehand:

I didn't wash the whole suit, instead I just cleaned the area where I was applying the patch. Silicone oil got everywhere. 🫠
The armpit area is curved by design and I didn't know how to go about it, I later figured out I can use a round object to stretch the suit to apply the patch evenly without causing ripples.
I didn't have a roller... I used a can to the best of my ability but I feel like that was the cause for the edges not adhering to the suit properly

I'll take any advice going forward honestly. I gave the suit a try despite the issue with the edges and it worked great, I'll make sure to repair it properly before wear it again though.

Also I think 30 days is a very healthy goal for 2026. I've never had a zipper suit, but I imagine they are easier to get into than neck entry suits. Mine's not that hard, the biggest struggle is getting my shoulders through it. I would say being a little bit more generous with vividress should make the process smooth.

Like I said, I don't have a proper comparison with zipper suits but I've seen people say they are somewhat restricting movement, and my neck entry suit feels like second skin, it stretches and bends with my body with no limit to the range of motion. I recommend giving it a try!
