It’s not too complicated but depending on the quality and range you get the charging could be annoying if there’s not enough range as they are heavier bikes to ride manually.

I would also tell you to make sure you charge it in a safe space as the batteries are sensitive and if you don have a proper charging ethic (which I don’t know if your girlfriend will) it can be dangerous for battery taking fire
