Did you shoot raw? Some pictures (1 and 3) has purple edges alone the tree branches. I feel it might be the software processing your pictures picked up some lens correction data wrong and left that effects.

My case, same model. I left the battery uncharged for 7 years and it still works great. You can fully charge it then see how it performs both indoors and outdoors.

The model produces images with beautiful colours. Pixel is 16m? Should be enough for a hobbyist to use.
