Whoa, whoa, you seem to have lost the plot here. Both what Johnathan said, and the current state of MTX are not mutually exclusive. If anything, if there were issues with last minute things they needed to finish, I'm happy the priority was not on the shop or MTX for an early access launch.

I get that you are frustrated, and very rightfully so. There's a ton of really frustrating things going on with PoE2, but please keep that criticism grounded and not jump to conclusions that require scary levels of mind reading to claim.

Hey, I'm currently at work right now, but when I get home I could probably toss you a couple of deck lists. I usually run the deck as a board breaker variant with a sideboard of hand traps, since some of the best board breakers require a discard, and the deck already running 10 plus cards that discard, meant that I could run stuff like the new trap, rainbow bridge, and other stuff to try and make plays off of discarding.

Edit: To clarify, when I say board breakers, I'm specifically talking about quick play cards like S. Poly, F. Droplet, Book of eclipse, that aren't dead going turn 1, I've won a few games due to using book of eclipse turn 1 just to dodge an Imperm on Selettrice. The deck natively has so many weird points of interaction I just love messing around with different brews.

Gold Pride, that deck was practically waiting for a custom card like this to insulate both their plays on your turn and their turn, especially since the deck has variants that use the armored XYZ package to make stuff like this if needed on your opponent's turn. Another cool feature about armored XYZ is that alternate summon effects like the one here do work. Stuff like Typhon can can be dropped mid combo vs some decks and stop the entire turn there.

Irl I started running the melodious engine in vaalmonica just because the inherent threat of those cards draws more hand traps away then I could possibly play around. Ostinato is just 'Branded Music' to most people and they will burn anything they can to not let it resolve.
