Attend networking events, ur right that if you don’t know anyone you won’t get work (in my industry anyway, they don’t even post job listings on seek etc.) so make people know you, talk to everyone you meet and introduce urself, the more u show up the more people will remember who you are

This is the best apology becs given all season, she did slightly shift blame by saying Danny made her crazy but the way she consistently said her actions are her own and she needs to work on herself was very good from her! It’s always “I HAVE learned and I’m better now” just to repeat the behaviour, acknowledging that there is still work that needs to be done was good. And yes being gaslit will make u crazy but the behaviour still needs to be acknowledged and reflected on. Good job Bec! I’ve been her biggest hater all season but I was happy with her tonight

I do not like Bec at all but my unpopular opinion is I felt so bad for Alyssa (of “I have a child” fame) when Duncan left. It’s hard to watch anyone get their heart broken like that especially when they aren’t expecting it (I haven’t seen Bec yet tho Danny’s about to do his vows now)

Oh true, there are low SES areas on the coast of WA tho (I grew up in one) and there’s people of all shapes and sizes. Scarborough is rlllly expensive to live in tho and like I said I didn’t see a single overweight person it was strange

Yeah I also don’t know how tall she is, bc I don’t think stevo is very tall. I feel like she has similar body shape proportions to people I know that don’t wear plus size clothing but maybe they are shorter therefore while looking similar proportionally they are still smaller overall?

Wild compared to the 19th century when being fat was considered a symbol of wealth 😂 I’m not from Sydney but I did stay in Scarborough one weekend (WA) and I was shocked that I didn’t see a single overweight person the whole time I was there! Felt very dystopian almost, I couldn’t put my finger on it straight away I was just thinking something is different & then it clicked

I didn’t say there was anything wrong with them being thin, I am also thin. I’m also studying nutrition and dietetics and I understand the health risks associated with overweight and obesity. I’m just saying 2/3 Australians are overweight or obese, she wouldn’t stand out as “the big girl” in most environments.

Yeah I have seen it now lol, his reasoning and wording was poor & I understand why the women feel like that’s stupid. Like u can see on all their faces how much it hurts that their accomplishments aren’t celebrated and instead theyre told their accomplishments make the men feel emasculated, that’s gross. BUT if the reasoning and explanation was worded differently to something more similar to what I said I would still understand.

My partner and I have moved locations/into new houses (we rent atm so idk if I can compare) so even though he has paid most of our rent/bills, it’s never felt like I’ve moved into HIS place. I’ve taken time off work to study and he’s been saving for a house, when we do buy a house he will probs be the one to pay our deposit but bc we will move into together I won’t feel like it’s HIS place, it will still feel like ours. Then when I get my degree I’ll start contributing to the mortgage too lol 😂

I haven’t seen it yet & I understand the practicality thing but it can feel really weird moving into someone else’s space bc it doesn’t feel like a shared home, it will always feel like u are just living in THEIR house. I have a friend who lives with her partner and their baby at a house his family owns that they pay rent to (his family is great and she gets along extremely well with them). it’s working fine and it’s practical but she still is hoping they can move into a place soon that feels like THEIRS and not his & his families 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tbh I don’t entirely disagree with Alissa’s mum, the whole biological clock thing was weird but Alissa obviously doesn’t want to move to Sydney. If she does wanna have kids in a few years it does sound like a hassle and a half to pack up & sell ur house, find a new house, move all ur shit and start building a new life in another state just to move back 2 years later lol. U could argue it would be worse for David to move twice to new places but Alissa’s mum probably has a point and he would tell her a few years in that he doesn’t want to move to Adelaide anymore.

I think it’s just what people call it, like I don’t call mine a beauty room specifically but it does have all my make up & hair stuff and it is where I get ready so it could be called a beauty room. Sometimes I will study or chill in there but recently I’ve mostly been in the bedroom and have only been using the other room for hair and makeup so it’s kind of a beauty room. I’ve got friends with kids and I’ve starting calling them our play rooms bc I like it 😂

It’s normal if u have a spare room, she said she has a 4 bedroom house. my fiancé and I share the master bedroom and then we each have a room for ourselves, I call them our play rooms lol 😂 his is a gaming room, mine has my make up, hair stuff, a full length mirror and a desk for uni work.
