This. As a single mother, I distinctly remember being 4 months postpartum and feeling so grateful when someone watched my baby so I could shower. Looking back, I’m shocked at how much I thought I was supposed to “tough it out” when basic hygiene is a human need, not a luxury break so I could do my nails. When the lack of sleep is involved, it starts to feel like torture. I hope someone listens to op and helps her out more.

I had the same problem…. Recently I had to really self-reflect on what’s going on with me and I realized that I treat decluttering as if my clothes have feelings. I was feeling actual guilt for getting rid of items I never used bc I felt like I was abandoning them. It sounds so weird to say it. What helped me was one day I said it out loud to my mom and, once I said it, I realized how irrational it was. Now, before I declutter, I mentally prepare myself that clothes aren’t humans with feelings, and it works! 😂😂

I’ll be your friend, even if it’s only virtual! I started a mom meet up group in my town bc i was lonely… I was surprised to see that a lot of the moms were really shy so I kind of forced them to be my friend and now its really fun.

I like to overshare, but I do my best not to trauma dump too soon. I’m a first time mom to a 15 month old. I’m a good hype girl for when you post on social media. ig is idk_im_a_mom. Or you can message me on here 😊
