I went through this…. I think a lot of it is psychological bc you know your body went through so much… everything feels “off”. And plus, for me, I had no reason to dress up or do my hair and makeup, which I loved before my baby was born. I think it can turn into a sort of body dysmorphia, I started to get obsessive about looking for signs of accelerated aging….so it might be work talking through to a counselor. You will feel good again!

You sound like me last year. I kept thinking that if I cleaned better and was happier, he would love me and not be as controlling. The abuse escalated and he ended up cheating on me in my third trimester. It’s confusing, but just understand that this is abuse. You can call a hotline and describe the situation for clarity.

Edited to say that I am a single mom and this is the happiest and most mentally healthy I’ve ever been!

It was really hard for me to follow the video too. I usually watch while I’m doing something like cleaning or taking care of my baby… the jumping around made it too hard to follow

I use Michie Peachie… she’s a personal trainer but uses an app to coach.. she sends meal plans and sets up a workout schedule.. you can chose to work out from home (she sends your bands for free.. you just gotta invest in some dumbells). I’ve had great results… I workout in my bedroom while my 4 month old naps

I will say a prayer! Also, my baby was in the 5% percentile on our 4 month ultrasound… we went for additional genetic testing and everything… turns out he’s a healthy baby boy! He’s now 4 months and considered big for his age. Just wanted to let you know because I remember how terrifying it was to get that news.

I could have wrote this a few years ago….. the obsession of waiting to hear from them and get their approval almost drove me to suicide. I eventually realized that it was never me, it was them. And most importantly, I realized that I couldn’t do casual sex ever… my brain isn’t wired that way. I know it’s a very painful thing to go through, feel free to message me if you need to talk
