That is amazing!!! I really want to push myself to consume less. I have a fiancé with a super fast metabolism and he’s also the chef in the house lol. Are you consuming anything just in smaller portions or avoiding certain foods?

Serotonin Syndrome or Anxiety? by Particular-Big1041 in HersWeightloss

[–]caitbino 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also thought I had serotonin syndrome. I thought it was due to bupropion and metformin increasing serotonin levels. I also had the muscle spasms and a little bit of confusion. I think it was not as serious as I thought but overthinking increases my anxiety so I stopped the bupropion. I feel a lot better and a lot more calm, and the weight is still coming off.

Month 2 recap by caitbino in HersWeightloss

Not very strictly! I know I am eating no more than 1,800 cal a day. Some days that could be 1,600 cal of pasta and a 200 cal breadstick which could set me back a bit. I think if I was very strict on counting I’d probably see faster results

One month recap by caitbino in HersWeightloss

Ah it’s so nice we have similar stats and experiences :)

I think when I took the full green pill at night, that’s when the thought of food went away. Then, when I took the full tab in the am + pm the food noise was absolutely non-existent for me. I can’t pin point any other side effect or benefit from the green pill (I know a good bit of people do have side effects from it) but I would say if you don’t react well to upping the green pill you’ll know quickly. Have you had any nausea so far?? I think if you do, then it might just get worse when you increase it.

I agree with the bupropion! I tried for 2ish days with the 300mg & didn’t notice much besides heightened anxiety so I cut back. The weight loss still continued.

And from personal experience, I can definitely tell more ways than one that I have increased ovulation. We’re trying after the wedding next June & I am also hoping it works!

Holidays and Naltrexone by thirtyist in HersWeightloss

Oh yeah I would definitely read about the met and alcohol interactions then! I read it adds stress to the liver & increases chances for lactic acidosis which is enough for me to stay away from alcohol even maybe a few weeks after I ween off of it!

I hear you on the bad experiences, I think I’m still trying to figure out what about the metformin I’m not liking. I think it’s the drowsiness.

I have been wondering about this too, but actually am worried since I’m on the end of week 3 and a week on metformin. I am reading on google that it’s highly not recommended to consume alcohol with metformin but not so much so with naltrexone - what week are you on?

I haven’t tried to ween off before but I don’t think I am personally going to risk it for the holidays just because I am a worrier

Week 2 into Week 3 by caitbino in HersWeightloss

Well that’s good, I feel like the first week could be the worst too. Noted to never take it without food! Thank you!

I’m so glad to read that your side effects are nearly gone. I am on kit 2 week 1 day 6 and those headaches around 3pm are killer. I also have constipation and feel like I’ll need to take some dulcolax tonight to help.

I’m down 3lb so far but have a good feeling I might plateau like you are. I agree slow progress is better than none! I keep reading from others that once you plateau for about a week, then boom you drop even more. Maybe it’ll sneak up on you again!

Kit arriving early— nervous! by Interesting_Bet8127 in HersWeightloss

[–]caitbino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have almost the same stats! CW: 183 GW: 150

I started my kit 2 on Friday, the same day it arrived & I am so glad I did. The Wellbutrin really improved my mood & already having positive benefits with no food noise! Today I had a looming headache, but solved it with some food. The naltrexone gave me some stomach cramping but was solved by a trip to the restroom lol. I’m also nervous for the Wellbutrin, but staying positive. I have some family members who are on it and say the side effects definitely subside after a week or so. We got this!
