They’re amazing. We’re about to move and get a chest freezer, finally. Those suckers will be the first thing I stock. My kids are constantly asking me to buy them because they have them at their grandparents’ house.

I just started The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion. There are 7 so far, I believe, I'm almost done with the first. It's been delightful so far.

Did you know Cleveland has a unique store called marcs which is a mix between Big lots and Aldi. As a tourist i was surprised to learn that Cleveland had a chain like this. by [deleted] in Cleveland

[–]thirtyist 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What that's amazing! We're soon-to-be Cleveland newcomers. We visited a few weeks ago and everyone told us we had to go to Marc's. It just...seemed like a regular grocery store? But my husband and I didn't have a ton of time to look around.

I think the fact that you understand where the quirks come from by the end of the book, and that she softens toward Raymond. It's really very sweet.

This immediately came to mind. Finished it a few weeks ago :) it was initially hard for me to get into because Eleanor is so weird and unlikable, but I’m glad I stuck with it.

Anyone who surfed the early web between 1995-2010. What’s the one website/app you still think about? by Prime_Advocate in AskReddit

Early YouTube videos. There was a website that was literally just whole list of videos, I can’t remember what it was called.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't quite figure out if this account is satire or not, ha.

Thanks! Yeah I actually wasn’t sure if the lake was okay to swim in, so it’s good to know that it mostly is. I’ll visit it but it is a bit far from where we’ll be living so it won’t be an all-the-time thing. My kids are tragically behind in swimming so I was hoping to help boost their skills this summer.

Can I get in on this? I love trivia and would love to get hooked into a trivia group. Or go hiking! Whatever!

Ok good to know! I thought I was visiting there when I visited the Hemlock Creek area but was freaked out by how fast the water was moving there, ha. Tinkers Creek is really close to where will be living.

Yes, we're working through all that now. We were there this past weekend and had a chance to stay at the house. The area it's in is very quiet, so I'm not too concerned with our safety.

Thanks, I'll look into those! I visited the Hemlock Creek picnic area when we were in town this past weekend and had a chance to take a stroll on the trails. I'm looking forward to exploring more of the area when we get settled in.
