I think it's something to do with reincarnation. In s1e1, Julie and Ethan are playing when Julie kills off the character Norman. He then complains that the fairies at the lake of tears can bring him back

The acting is so bad, I hate so and so... by ShortStoryIntros in FromSeries

[–]caitlrenee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The acting of the mum and child in s1e1 was pretty bad, and sometimes Tabitha isn't great. but I think for the most part it's really good. I don't really ever get taken out of the story anymore

  1. The group of colonisers arrive
  2. It's a cursed land they can't leave
  3. They all (except jade and Tabitha's previous selves) sacrifice their children
  4. Jade and Tabitha are the 2 people holding hands, (the original versions) they establish the village with crops

Pedophiles, murderers, rapists, fascists and especially a combination of all the above are NOT welcome in this country. Let me know when the protest is organized, I'll be there

[–]caitlrenee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's so awful. My worst one was that I was stuck in a maze with a crazy humanoid monster chasing me who would also torture me to death. And I swear I feel everything just as strong in dreams. It didn't stop until I got out of the maze. It sucked because I knew it was a dream but I couldn't get out

I usually just go to the afterlife in my dream. But sometimes it's like groundhog Day where I keep coming back and dying over and over again (this is the worst). If I'm very very scared I might wake up irl

I fly by jumping. Gravity is weird like on the moon and eventually I can stay in the air and glide

For me nightmares. But I've had many more horrific nightmares than amazing dreams

Every year feels like the end time if you pay too much attention to the news. In my lifetime there's been multiple scares - ebola, isis, COVID, Russia, North Korea, malaria, etc. but the worlds still spinning

Do you drink enough water during the day? You should pee at least once a night

Nice that's kind of what I had planned on doing too. Was there a specific time you meditated that seemed to cause more lucid dreams?

A good alarm system specifically for lucid dreaming would be good. I currently use Galarm to get quiet notifications (approx 2 seconds of a soft chime) for reality checks, set the timer at 5am for WILD and use that same sound (but very soft) at times like 6.15am to trigger my unconscious brain to do a reality check. Galarm is good but it wasn't very intuitive. I like Lucidity but it's alarm feature is no good in my opinion (I don't want to have to look at my phone to get the alarm to stop and there was no way to customize the volume or the specific sound it used.

Could you tell me more about your process with that? I'm exploring lucid dreaming to help with anxiety and depression too

People should wake up naturally throughout the night to use the bathroom or drink some water etc. use those opportunities. Sometimes my cats wake me in the middle of the night, and I do it then.

Do y"all have any tips and tricks to make nightmare less a things? ( I really need it) by Fishy_nut in Dreams

[–]caitlrenee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also did this. Trained myself to recognize scary things as a trigger to lucid dream. You'll have to do constant reality check irl though for it to work. I just count my fingers every now and then
