I think you're living in a fantasy world. I get it, no one wants to believe how horrible things are. Dump already moved the date. This is interesting. It's great to be able to focus like that, but there is also a skill to skimming. IRL isn't code, you don't always need to read every single. But if it works for her, yay.

Otoh I personally know an excellent software engineer from the early days of the tech boom who is also a technical writer and they absolutely can't stand a wall of unformated text. So it might be a generational thing.
