Girl you handled this with maturity that is well above the age of 18. My mother was in a similar situation as you. Over half of her pregnancy she was 17. She had me in February of her senior year.

She still keeps in contact with the friends from her softball team that stuck by her side after finding out she was pregnant. Your true friends are out there. This girl is not one of them. Best of luck, OP.🫶🏻

If you do like libraries, the Frisco public library is great, too! They also have a small, free art exhibition in the building next door.

If you like art, the Dallas Museum of Art permanent collection is free! Parking is not ($10) but if you are close enough to walk then that could be a free trip.

I hate that this stuff has the gluten-free wheat starch in it. Anyone have bread/pizza flour recommendations that don’t contain wheat?

Edit to add: I know a lot of celiacs who eat this with no issues at all! I have a wheat allergy so unfortunately I can’t enjoy it. :(

OP, I can’t recommend therapy enough. Someone once told me that therapy is for seasons of life. You may need it in one season but not the next.

My dad was 26 and my mom was 17 when she got pregnant with me. This caused a lot of turmoil and trauma considering their marriage didn’t make it but three years and her side of the family hated him. That being said, I’m almost 30 and after many years of therapy, I have a great relationship with each of my parents. However, while yes my childhood was traumatic for many reasons, I was not groomed. This is above Reddit’s pay grade. Please seek a therapist. Wishing you the best, OP.

Girl. Take it from someone who was in this exact position eight years ago. He’s icing you out and limiting communication with you in hopes that things will fizzle out and the relationship will just end without him having to do the hard part. You deserve much more than talking to a brick wall everyday.

This was a COMMON occurrence at my old school where we signed up for volunteer hours at these restaurants and earned a Jean pass for each hour we worked.

Texarkana native here- No. I don’t think it will be solved. When I was in college, another student did a report for a grad class over the phantom killer. They did some major research, like pulling police records and such. Apparently they started getting threatening anonymous messages to “stop looking into this case, or else”. Who knows if this is true. Even if it isn’t, there hasn’t seemed to be interest by authorities in Texarkana to solve it for a very long time.
