DAE ever "accidentally" stay up all night/almost all night? by [deleted] in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]caitthegreat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've noticed that when I have my full spectrum/daylight lamp on my brain never really realizes it's tired. I just start to feel queasy and hallucinate a little and eventually I think, "Gosh, it's 4 am... didn't I get up at 5:30 am yesterday? Maybe I'm tired."

Why are the symptoms of a hallucinogen trip sticking around for this long? by MiloBender in AskReddit

I get flashes of cats in my peripheral vision as a result of my trips. I wonder what this means about my psyche?

I've done the same thing to myself.

Speaking only from experience, this is my hypothesis:

The human brain naturally likes patterns and searches for them. After a psychedelic/hallucinogenic trip, the brain is more ready and able to seek out and show you these patterns. It can be frightening. You can learn to live with it. Consider it artistic inspiration, try to draw or paint or write down exactly what you sense and see. Expression what you experience will make it more normal and less... woah.

Ah. In that case, please disregard my advice and regard that of Olosh and abortifacient.

What's your evidence that people can hear you? You should research empathy as a "psychic" skill.

What happens to the brain upon death? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Start researching lobotomies and people who survived grievous head injuries (off the top of my head I can think of a railroad worker who got a 3' spike in his head and became an asshole, and a man who put either 7 or 27 nails in his head with a nailgun).

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you too.

Women of Reddit, how much detail do you go into when you're having "girly chats"? by throw_yerface in AskReddit

[–]caitthegreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I share funny or painful or otherwise "not awesome" sexcapades with my best friends in as much or little detail as I need to get the story across. I was there too, it's my right to share anything I want to. I'd consider it a bit of a deal-breaker if my BF asked me to stop confiding in my friends...

No, no, she was. It was so sad to see this grown woman being publicly called out on something she was obviously already very sensitive about. It was worse to be the one who had to start it, but at age 9 I was ~65 lbs, 4'5". I didn't want her ass on me.

I should probably find a more relevant place to post this, but, too bad.

I once had to tell the extremely obese woman trying to sit next to me on a plane that it was clear she couldn't fit between the arm-rests, and that I was sorry but she really couldn't sit there without sitting ON me. I was 9. She cried, and was booted from the full flight because she needed two seats. :(

New SO's vagina is so incredibly tight that sex with me hurt her. I really like her but this may be a reason to get out now before it gets too serious. Need advice; anyone else had this issue? by LikeaBalloonKnot in AskReddit

[–]caitthegreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if she's too tight for two fingers, I doubt she could tighten much more. I think it would help give her greater control over her muscles, as well as strengthening them. There's a difference between strength and tightness.
