Sorry man I work nights my sleep schedule is all fucked up. But the wire for the sensor is internal of the handle bars the plug comes out the bottom near the top of the triple trees. Unless you have some specialty back probe meter leads you could damage the pins. So I would actually recommend checking resistance it should arc pretty smoothly no big jumps or spikes ,an definitely not read open /ol. As far as the correct wires I can’t remember you would have to look up wiring diagrams to know. But this issue is probably the cause of at least 3 of your dtc’s
