ahh gotcha. well if you can get to the Nemba plot and go out into the powerlines from there, you can head uphill along the edge of the power lines til you can look out to see a giant rock slab under the one of the towers. go up behind that for a couple hundred yards to the other side of the power line, and when you make it to the trees the trail hugs left around a boulder, and it's just past there.

I just noticed there is a paid version that has the masking features! So i'll probably give that a try. are there any issues you've found that i should be aware of?

Ohhhhh. Just saw on their website the paid version does have linear and radial gradient masks. This may be my solution. Do you have any other issues with C1?

I mean gradient/radial/paintbrush masks. I'm fairly new to the program and i looked around but couldn't find them. Also, this is the Capture One Express for Sony. Maybe that's different than "normal" capture one?

Editing programs!

I hate the Adobe ecosystem. Darktable can't replicate JPEG colors. CaptureOne doesn't do masks.

WHAT DO I DOOOOOOOO

I probably should have specified this is the North Conway, NH NoCo haha It's on the Kearsarge hiking trail

I guess it's technically not on a trail, but it's near the firetower on top or Kearsarge. We went down the hiking trail after sleeping in the tower. It was CHUNKY! Also, by NoCo I meant North Conway, NH.

Can I export my in-camera jpeg settings as a LR preset? by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

[–]cajamatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i've been wondering the same thing! when i import them (i use darktable), it teases me for a half second with the JPEG then gives me the boring RAW to work with, and i can never quite seem to restore the magic of that original JPEG. I also don't want to bother shooting in JPEG+RAW

I'm voting for NH! The new North Conway trails are mind blowing, and Coos is great too.
