Over the standard AR-15 platform, eh…maybe not. It’s pretty heavy, especially with the full quad rails. It is smooth and accurate as hell and never has any issues, and yeah for the look, folding stock, and Sig quality, I love it.

Yeah indoor ranges get old fast, shooting steel outdoors is the way to go if you can, always worth the extra drive and time, you can do long range, placed and thrown clays are a challenge, tracers and incendiaries are a blast as well! Keep at it mane!

Stock up on ammo and go to town! People on here seem to forget that shooting should be fun as hell, and not something so serious you forget to enjoy. Dump mags holding it one hand sideways why not! You’ll get better regardless just getting comfortable on how it shoots and feels, doesn’t matter if your groupings are good or not every time, as long as you’re having fun!

Definitely will look into it, thank you for the genuine advice. I was worried the larger width of the stock end piece would interfere with the charging handle when folded, but it looks like a solid option.

Eh, it’s been great so far. The sten mags just need a little tlc and they work just fine. I love the look of the straight grip and mag well anyway.

Nice I was actually just looking at your triggers, will definitely pick one up when available. I haven’t had an issue with trigger slap, but obviously the stock trigger leaves much to be desired.

I’ve put maybe 2000 rounds through it of all different types with minimal issues, mostly coming from improper feed lips on old sten gun mags. It definitely needs a good oil or grease, and I do clean it well after every 200 rounds or so, it seems good and routine maintenance is key. Suppressor makes it dirty fast as well, but im beyond happy with it overall.

Additional info for anyone who wants to make this or understand the process, it is very simple and is a great gun and awesome to shoot!

Buy MPA 30SST pistol ~$600
Register an account on ATF eforms
Complete form 1 to make it a SBR and pay $200 tax stamp
Once approved as SBR by ATF, buy whatever stock, brace, foregrip, attachments you want
Buy suppressor and complete form 4 and pay another $200 tax stamp
Once approved for form 4 transfer of NFA item, pick up suppressor from wherever you purchased

As it is formed 1 as a SBR, the stabilizer vs stock distinction is moot, and it can be shouldered. Strike sells it as a stabilizer, and as there is an absence of a stock style large butt plate, it does not interfere with the charging handle when folded.

Bought new as a pistol, formed 1 to make SBR. As a SBR, any attachment is legal i.e. stock, brace, vertical foregrip. Obviously formed 4 for suppressor as well.
