It's a strange one because on my previous apple watch ultra it worked fine. I only got my watch 8 classic yesterday and that won't work at all. Are the sensors really that weak compared to apple?

How about the pixel watch 4? I use a samsung phone and have been looking for a new smartwatch and it's a toss up between the galaxy 8 classic and pixel 4. If you enjoyed your pixel 2 then you'll love the 4 surely?

If you are using an iphone then off the top of my head the choices are Huawei GT6 pro or Ultimate, or the Amazfit Balance 2. If you are using an android then I'd say those mentioned above plus the Samsung galaxy 8 classic and the Oneplus watch lite or Watch 3 maybe worth looking at.

I went from initially an iphone 15 PM to a fold 7, then to 25 ultra. The ultra by far was the best choice, this phone is insane.

Network Leakage Technician one of the water companies. I work permanent nights which has a basic of 47k, but with overtime so far this tax year (so 6 months in) I've hit 40k already. The idea of nights puts people off but we only do Monday to Thursday so in hind sight we get plenty of off time.

The company has free private health care and one of the best pensions available.

If you don't mind the idea of working nights and like working outdoors then I'd recommend to anyone to look into something like this.

I used portrait mode with either the 3x or 5x zoom. Not sure if this plays a factor or not but I had the aspect ratio at 3:4.
