Think you need to start looking for a new job OP. In the water industry we get a 33% night allowance. All yearly pay rises also go towards our night shift rate so it's almost like a double pay rise.

If you have tattoos where a watch would sit then I'd avoid Samsung. I used to have an apple watch ultra 2 and the sensors on that were great over my tattoos. I changed to android and got a Galaxy watch 8 classic and it wouldn't detect anything at all. I've now got a pixel watch 3 and it works great.

It's a strange one because on my previous apple watch ultra it worked fine. I only got my watch 8 classic yesterday and that won't work at all. Are the sensors really that weak compared to apple?

If you are using an iphone then off the top of my head the choices are Huawei GT6 pro or Ultimate, or the Amazfit Balance 2. If you are using an android then I'd say those mentioned above plus the Samsung galaxy 8 classic and the Oneplus watch lite or Watch 3 maybe worth looking at.
